Bombing of Admiral Duncan pub

1999 – Attack by neo-Nazi third, after previous attacks in Brick Lane and Brixton.

The nail bombing of the Admiral Duncan by David Copeland killed three people and injured around seventy, and was part of a campaign by David Copeland to stir up racist and homophobic tensions.

The attack shocked the LGBT community, and was followed by a silent protest by members of the community who marched near the sight so silently bear witness. The day after the attack, posters were put up on Old Compton Street which read ‘You can’t kill us all’.
